The final renovated floor of rooms reopened a few days before Erie's Total Solar Eclipse on April 8, boosting business and showcasing added amenities.

Guests from around the globe have stayed at Spencer House, which started out as a single family dwelling.
"It's not always the most fun or glamorous, but I just sit down and remember my great-grandfather started this 91 years ago," said Shane. "So, that's huge for me."
