    Edinboro University and football head coach Scott Browning announced on Monday that former Arizona Cardinals coach Mike Miller will be their new offensive coordinator in 2014. Miller replaces Bryan Volk who left the program earlier in the summer to pursue other opportunities. Miller spent time with the Cardinals from 2007-2012 as a wide receivers coach, passing game coordinator,and offensive coordinator.     Despite rainy and blustery conditions at Downing golf course, Stephanie Urban topped the field to win this year's E.D.W.G.A. stroke play tournament with a 153 gross total. Former District 10 AA champion Megan Moylan finished runner-up with a 155 total. Amy Gierlak placed third. Georgia Capotis took top honors in net scoring with Tanica Bell and Kathy Lynch finished second and third.More >>

    A house fire in Harborcreek early Sunday displaced a family of six adults and two children. The fire broke out about 5:00 a.m. at 5144 Ebersole Drive. Fire officials say a family member woke up to the sound of crackling flames and managed to get everyone else up and safely out of the house.
