Since I was nine years old, I knew weather was going to be part of my life. I was nine years old when the May 31st tornados ripped through NE Ohio, NW Pennsylvania and western New York. I had family living in Albion at the time. I visited them five days after the storm and it changed my life. I wanted to find out why the storms happened and what I could do to protect people from these deadly storms.
I graduated from Ohio University, where I attained a B.S. in Meteorology. I later attended the Ohio Center for Broadcasting, where I learned all aspects of TV and radio broadcasting. It was during my time at OCB, that I started interning with Chief Meteorologist Rob Wilson.
Anyone who knows me will tell you I am a huge sports fan. My two favorite sports are racing (NASCAR, local short track racing, NHRA) and boxing. The first boxing match I ever attended was Fernando Vargas vs Oscar de la Hoya….you can't get any bigger than that!
In my free time, you can find me at the local race tracks, hanging out with my family, or jogging/working out. I recently was elected to the Board of Directors of Linked by Pink.
