Growing up, my mom always told me, "find something you're good at, and turn it into your career." And here at WICU/WSEE, I feel I can do just that.
I earned my bachelor's degree in three and a half years from Duquesne University, in my hometown of Pittsburgh, where I majored in broadcast journalism and minored in media management.
News is an important part of our day, and during my years at Duquesne, I learned that by writing for the campus newspaper and working with the TV station DUQ-TV News 14.
I interned at WTAE-TV in Pittsburgh where I covered sports during a Steelers Super Bowl and a Penguins playoff run. To say I love sports is an understatement!
I worked previously in radio at Pittsburgh's Radio Disney and ESPN stations.
I am beyond thrilled to break into the world of TV news here in Erie, and I am looking forward to becoming a part of the community! And please, if you see me, say hello! I always want to hear what you have to say!
