The official results are in for Tuesday's primary election. No problems were found, and no results changed.
Election Supervisor Sharon Drayer compared the results from the internal flash drives on all the voting machines, with the electronic cubes that activate the machines. It took less than a half-hour to wrap up the comparison.
That's a far cry from the process before electronic machines.
Drayer said, "Now it is just a matter of printing up 154 piecces of paper and just matching jup the numbers from the election night results to the audit data that is held inside the machine. It is pretty quick, maybe 20 minutes."
Election workers also re-checked absentee ballots as part of the official count.
