Rookie mini camp is very exciting, yet stressful! I remember when I went through it in Tampa in 2006! It was so neat walking into the locker room and seeing your jersey and helmet hanging up!
Everyone was so excited to be there. For example, we had a walk-through and we got yelled at to slow down because we were going full speed!
I remember staying up until 2am studying my playbook, when I had to wake up at 6am!
After the weekend I was so happy and could take a deep breath like I did it! Its a great accomplishment for all the University of Toledo players to just get invited to camp, but to get signed is even more exciting!
They just have to remember it's football and to only worry about what they can control! I'm very confident in the guys coming from a great program like Toledo they will study hard and definitely play hard!
