Erie Police Have New Information In Deadly Hit And Run Case

Erie police have some new information on that fatal hit and run crash from last month.
They now say they know it was a light-colored SUV that struck and killed an Erie man.
The accident happened back on May 13th, on west 38th street, near Raspberry.
51 year old David Hamilton was killed, when he was hit.
Police are looking for a light colored GMC Envoy, with front end damage.
Traffic investigators say the case is moving forward.
"We're a lot closer than we were. One person came forward with the color of the car, it's a lighter colored GMC Envoy. And other people have provided information, so we're starting to put the case together. And that's why we're asking anybody who had called in the past to please call again." Said Erie Police Cpl. Anthony Letkiewicz
