(WORLDNOW) – With a hook like "we don't even have to try / it's always a good time," the Carly Rae Jepsen-ification of the world is about to reach a whole new level with the release of "Good Time," her collaboration with Owl City.

Jepsen, the former Canadian Idol contestant, made a splash earlier this year with "Call Me Maybe" that reached beyond the music world and crossed into the dating world. The song, about the singer meeting a boy and asking him to call her (maybe), led to an idea even catchier than its refrain: business cards. News stories and Facebook feeds have since been peppered with pictures of the business cards that people created with Jepsen's lyrics and their phone numbers. (It is not yet known how many of these cards result in actual phone calls.)

So what will follow the release of "Good Time" (which can be heard on Owl City's Soudcloud page)? With the kind of melody and shout-along chorus that tends to be heard everywhere during the summer, inventive singles and entrepreneurs will need a fresh take approach to the business card idea, and lyric t-shirts just don't have the same cache. As a twist, Jepsen's new song is not about dating someone new: it is about two people who already know one another.

Here are a few ideas that "Good Time" might spawn:

- Pre-formatted text messages of "Let's hang out if you're down to get down tonight / it's always a good time."

- With the pool-side references and beach-front artwork on the single's cover, custom-made beach towels could be around the corner.

- It may be a stretch, but with the conceit that the two people in the song always have a good time together… the lyrics could actually make their way into wedding vows.

Even if none of those ideas actually happen, be prepared to hear this song on the radio, coming out of someone's iPod or even soundtracking a commercial or movie trailer sometime soon.
