Man Hospitalized After Home Invasion Robbery In North East

State police are investigating an early-morning home invasion robbery in North East.
It happened around 3:20 Friday morning at a home in the 3400 block of Williams road, in North East township.
Investigators say 3-4 Hispanic males barged in the home, through an unlocked back door.
Police say they assaulted a man, who was sleeping in his bed, striking him several times in the head and face.
The victim suffered serious injuries, emergency crews took him to the hospital for treatment.
The suspects reportedly stole a safe with $6,900 dollars inside.
So far, no arrests.
