The Erie man accused of raping and beating a woman in her car will spend the next 30 to 60 years behind bars.
This is the second time Antonio Warner has been sentenced for the same crime that happened back in 2008. He was originally sentenced back in 2009 but granted a new trial because forensic nurse, Rhonda Henderson, testified in the case and her work was called into question.
Today, the victim's family was in the courtroom for sentencing. We caught up with her father after the judge read his decision.
"Society don't need this type of individual, this piece of trash, out there, especially when he has the propensity and the ability to recommit crimes of this nature," said Brian McAllister, the victim's father.
