A Pennsylvania State Trooper is being honored as June's Erie County Officer of the Month.
She's Sue Edelmann, a 13 year veteran.
She's on Troop E's criminal investigation unit, focusing on major crimes.
Supervisors say her hard work and dedication, make her very deserving of the award.
"I was very surprised, it was very much an honor too." Said Edelmann.
"That's very important as you're doing a criminal investigation, to be able to chase down leads, they wind up being a dead end, and then you have to start over. And ultimately you have to get to the point to make your case a success, and she's extremely good at that." Said District Attorney, Jack Daneri.
"She's a perfect example of that this award is all about. She is intelligent, hard-working, and an excellent investigator." Said Troop E Commander, Captain Brad Allen.
