It seems lightning was to blame for a fire in North East that completely destroyed a family's barn.
It happened around 6:30 this morning.
A barn at on Williams Road was struck by lightning, and caught fire.
The family was woken up by the powerful storm when the lightning struck, and found the barn in flames.
By the time the Kuhl Hose Company arrived, the barn was fully engulfed and starting to collapse.
The age of the barn made it more susceptible to the strike.
No people were injured, but a bull, some goats and pigs were lost in the blaze.
