7th Annual "Gathering at French Creek" Showcases History

Union City showcased its rich history today at the annual "Gathering at French Creek"

Crowds made their way to the Union City school grounds for the festival, which featured food, vendors, and even actor portrayals of historical figures.

Event organizers said they had the good weather to thank for the turnout during the first two days, and even though things got a little soggy for the last day, people still came out to enjoy the gathering.

The history of the area was a main focus of the weekend fun, with re-enactments and other demonstrations.

The event is in its seventh year, and this time added live music to the attractions.
