Thousands of motorcyclists will be descending on Erie in a couple of days.
It's the 6th annual Roar on the Shore motorcycle rally, and it starts Thursday.
What's expected is 100,000 visitors coming to Erie, ready to spend millions of dollars.
Vendors are setting up, and crews are getting downtown Erie ready for a record amount of visitors.
For the 6th year, the Manufacturers and Business Association is hosting Roar on the Shore.
The motorcycle rally grows year after year, more than 80 vendors will set up shop in Erie's Perry Square this year.
And 100,000 people are expected to visit during this year's 4-day event.
People come to this rally from all over the country, pumping millions of dollars into the city of Erie.
It's expected to be a record event.
"The economic impact in to the city of Erie exceeding well over 20 Million dollars is just a phenomenal thing. And it comes at a time when Erie really needs the economic boost. And we're thrilled that the Roar on the Shore can contribute to that." Said Tammy Polanski, Director of Marketing for The Manufacturers and Business Association.
The rally kicks off this Thursday with a concert and bike parade. Vanilla Ice will perform, and is the grand marshall.
There's plenty of live bands, a lot more group rides this year, and so much more's planned.
