Chiefs of police from 15 counties gathered in Corry Wednesday.
It was a meeting of the Northwest Pennsylvania Police Chiefs Association.Current chiefs, deputy chiefs, and retired chiefs, got together to discuss law enforcement issues.
They also developed strategies on how to deal with them.
"I would say the biggest problem is all drug related, and all the crimes associated with that. Whether it would be the thefts, the burglaries, the robberies, the domestic violence, child abuse. A lot of it stems back to drug abuse." Said Jeffrey Storm, President of the NW Pennsylvania Police Chiefs Association.
Erie County District Attorney Jack Daneri, was the keynote speaker.
