Venango Tavern Robbed Overnight

State Police are looking for the man who robbed a Venango tavern early Monday.

It happened at the Double D Tavern on Cussewago Street just before 2 a.m. Police say a man armed with a shotgun fired a shot into the ceiling and got away with about $350 in cash.

The robber is described as a thin, light skinned black male about 5'10" tall. Anyone with information is asked to call Meadville State Police at 814-332-6911 or Crime Stoppers at 814-472-8477.
