Fire Damages East Erie Building

An early morning fire Monday has damaged an industrial building on the city's east side.

The call coming in shortly before 4 for flames showing in a building in the 500 block of East 26th Street.

Firefighters quickly moved into a defensive posture meaning that their primary concern was protecting neighboring buildings first.

We understand that the building may house one or more small businesses and there may be some storage as well.

No one is believed to be injured. Look for the latest on the stations of Lilly Broadcasting.
