Some new details emerging today in the murder of an Erie man during an apparent robbery last year.
Police say the victim's body was dragged out of the house where that robbery happened and left in the street. That's where officers found 31-year-old Shanti Bayete last November.
He'd been shot and killed after police say he and his brother forced their way into the Walnut Street apartment of Jordan and Jarod Tracy.
The Erie Times-News reports that during a court hearing Monday, police testified that they found a bloody trail leading from the bottom of the apartment stairwell to the spot where Bayete's body was found. They also say they found a stungun and a handgun in the driveway.
So far, no one has been charged with Bayete's murder.
