Man Arrested In Apparent DUI Crash Involving Several Vehicles

One man taken away in handcuffs Thursday night, after an alleged drunk driver smashes into two cars, on Erie's east side.
It happened just after 9:00 p.m..

Police say,  it looks like the driver was headed west, on 26th.
They say on the stretch of road between Ash and Wayne, which is three blocks, he hit at least two cars, and had a number of close calls.
The other cars were all headed east, so he literally had to cross over into the oncoming lanes.
Fortunately, it doesn't look like anybody was seriously hurt.
