One Man Dies, Another Hospitalized In Eastside Erie Shooting

Erie's latest murder investigation is now underway after a shooting late Wednesday night on East 25th Street. One man was shot in the chest. He was taken to the hospital and died, there. Another man--who was also shot at the scene-remains hospitalized. The gunfire went off around 10:30 Wednesday night, at 702 East 25th. The house also appeared to get shot at, as well. There were numerous gun shells found around the house.

Erie Police say a large group of people gathered at the scene, following the shooting, so Millcreek officers were called to assist with crowd control. So far no arrests have been made in the shooting.
