Edinboro Welcomes Freshmen

It was moving in day at Edinboro University. More than 1300 freshmen and 300 transfer students were arriving on campus.

 They were getting help from parents, family members and student volunteers. In the past, students moved in a day or two before classes began. But now, they have 4 days before classes start on Monday, to get familiar with the campus.

 Edinboro University President Dr. Julie Wollman said, "We know our students will be more successul if they have been fully oriented to the campus and to what our expectations are. And they have had an opportunity to meet friends before the start of classes on Monday."

 Edinboro's freshmen class is a bit smaller than last year.
