TOLEDO, Ohio -
Families, college students, retired folks and everyone in between seemed to be out enjoying Labor Day at some Toledo parks.
Humidity levels were high on the day that marks the unofficial end to summer.
Most of the thunderstorms stayed just to the south of Toledo through late afternoon, making for a great day out on the boat cruising Lake Erie, fishing on the shoreline of Maumee Bay, or firing up the grill at one of the metroparks.
The boat ramps at Cullen Park were especially busy, with 3 and 4 boats coming in and out at a time, around 11 o'clock this morning.
Others threw the football around, walked the dogs, and pulled youngsters along trails in the wagon.
