Unique Toy Store Opens in Fairview

A unique toy store opened its doors Saturday in Fairview.

"Yoyo Sam" sells much more than just yo-yo's, although they do have hundreds of them, from vintage to high end models.

The company started as an online business, but owner Mitch Silver wanted a physical store where customers could try out the toys.

He said skill toys are a good non- digital source of entertainment for kids, who spend hours playing video games and watching TV.

About 30% of the online business is international, and silver hopes the store will generate more interest here at home.
