Two and four legged walkers teamed up to help some furry friends. They gathered at Liberty Park Burger King Amphitheater, for the 17th annual walk for small animals. It's the largest fund raiser of the year for "Because You Care." The organization is all about helping abandoned and rescued animals get foster care, and find lasting homes. People have learned it's just as good as adopting through a breeder. The organization's president, Kris Steiner says, "They're just as good, because we have foster families who get them vet care and obedience and house training and learn their personalities so they can find a good fit in the adoptive help process."
About 200 people and their dogs took part in the annual walk for small animals. There are 10 because you care dogs up for adoption right now.
