Two Hospitalized in Shooting

Erie police are investigating a shooting on Erie's east side early Sunday.  It happened here on Ross street, not far from East Avenue. Police say two people were shot, sometime after 3:00 am, but no ambulance was called to the scene.   Private vehicles brought the victims to UPMC Hamot Trauma Center.  The victims are a man and a woman. Police have not released their names.   Police were notified, when the victims arrived at the trauma center.  Detectives were called in early Sunday morning to begin piecing the case together.
