Man Suffers Chemical Burns

A 38 year old man suffered chemical burns while on board a fishing vessel.  Shortly after 10:00 AM Emergycare rescuers were called to meet the coast guard and border patrol officers at Dobbins landing to pick up the patient for transport.

The man was rushed to UPMC Hamot Trauma Center.  Sources on the scene say the man was in the engine room on the boat, when he was splashed in the face and eye with acid.
