ATLANTIC OCEAN -
Tropical Storm Nadine formed, late on Tuesday night and the storm has strengthened over the open water of the Atlantic. At 5 PM, Nadine has maximum sustained winds of 65 mph, and the storm is moving northwest at 16 mph. The tropical storm is expected to continue to strengthen into a hurricane on Thursday, but it will curve north and eventually northeast, likely staying far from land, missing Bermuda by hundreds of miles to the east.
