This weekend ( 9/22 ) a cool pocket of air will interact with rays of sunshine that can create scattered T-storms, but because of this interaction some hail will be possible with gusty winds.

    It has been a slow severe weather season up to this point, but this weekend will be the busiest of the season so far. There were more than 20 tornado reports on Saturday and over 200 severe reports totals.
    More than 200 severe weather reports and 20 tornadoes were observed in the plains on Saturday.
