ATLANTIC OCEAN -
Tropical Storm Nadine, which formed more than two weeks ago, continues to churn in the eastern Atlantic.
Nadine strengthened from a Tropical Depression into a Tropical Storm back on the evening of September 11th.
Sixteen days later, Nadine has maximum sustained winds of 45 mph, and has been slowly navigating through a few loops, south of the Azores.
While Nadine has been a bit of a marathon storm, it is far from record-setting.
In 1899, the San Ciriaco Hurricane (also known as the 1899 Puerto Rico Hurricane) maintained Tropical Storm strength for 28 days (as opposed to Nadine's 16 days - and counting).
