An Erie man is behind bars here in Erie, facing charges of rape, robbery and theft.
Erie police officers traveled to California, to pick up 25 year old Benjamin Crosby.
Police arrested him there, and held him on the charges here in Erie.
Erie police say back in January, Crosby followed a man after he left a store, and jumped him in an alleyway.
Crosby allegedly held a knife to the victim's neck, and robbed him.
Police identified Crosby by surveillance photos from the store, by tracking the credit card Crosby had stolen, and through interviews.
Crosby is also charged with allegedly raping a woman shortly after the robbery.
He's now in the Erie county prison.
