Motorcyclists Ride To Remember Friend

A parade of motorcyclists rode through West Millcreek on Thursday to honor a lost friend.


It was part of the funereal for 46-year old Danny Whitman. He died earlier this week from injuries in a crash September 25. He was riding on West 26th when he crashed into the side of a wheelchair transport van. He was thrown about 50 feet. Police are still investigating.

Whiteman worked at the Harley-Davidson Store on west 12th for over  20 years.  Bikers followed the funeral procession to Laurel Hill Cemetery.
