Kids in Erie got in on Nickelodeon's initiative called "Worldwide Day of Play" on Saturday.
The Erie Children's Museum put on the "day of play" for the first time this year, although it's been recognized nationwide for nine years.
The museum planned special events for kids today, to get them away from video games and TV, and promote more active play.
Dancing and bean bag tosses were just some of the activities kids had fun with.
The special event was included in the price of regular admission.
