Pets were blessed Sunday, at Saint Paul's Episcopal Church downtown.
People turned out with their usual household pets, but the farm animals didn't miss out; ducks and goats and even a cow got in on the blessing.
The church held its annual "harvest fest" in addition to the blessing of the animals.
Revered John Downey, who performed the ceremony, said the yearly service has special meaning for parishioners, who feel that pets are part of the family.
The service gets a good response every year, and this year Revered Downey blessed about 100 animals.
