Wind Advisory Extended Until 4 AM for Areas East of I-75

TOLEDO, Ohio -

UPDATE: The Wind Advisory has been extended until 4 AM for areas along and east of I-75 in northwestern & northern Ohio.

Sustained winds are blowing from the west and southwest at 15 to 25 mph, but some gusts are peaking near 45 or even 50 mph tonight.

The wind is driven by a strong low pressure system that is passing to our north tonight.

Gale Warnings are also in effect across Lake Erie.

Spotty power outages have been reported in numerous locations across Northwest Ohio, including in Lucas County.

It has been a slow severe weather season up to this point, but this weekend will be the busiest of the season so far. There were more than 20 tornado reports on Saturday and over 200 severe reports totals.More >>
