Salon owner suspected of peeping out on bond

A local salon owner who allegedly dove out a window before being arrested by police is out on bond.

Matthew Gonzalez was being questioned by Toledo police after a complaint filed by a 17-year-old. The teen claimed a cell phone was hidden in a vent at Matthew Vincente Salon on Garden Road while she was tanning.

Police say during their interview with Gonzalez, he grabbed a cell phone and jumped out a second floor window.

Wednesday night, we reported Gonzalez tried to escape from police. We want to clarify that no escape charges were filed.

Gonzalez is charged with tampering with evidence and obstructing official business.
