Fatal Fire in Edinboro

One person is dead, following an apartment fire in Edinboro.

The fire broke out in an apartment in the 100 block of Erie Street around 8:00 p.m. Saturday.

Not much information is being released at this time, but crews at the scene say that the coroner arrived around 10:00 p.m.

The building is now blocked off with police tape as the investigation continues. Right now, it's unclear who the victim is. But we will keep you posted, as more information is made available.
