State police stopped 43-year-old Zavia Johnson of Newark on the Bargain Road overpass of Interstate 79 southbound Friday morning.
They say he committed a couple of traffic violations. Inside his rented car with Jersey plates, they found 175 bricks of heroin, with a street value of a quarter of a million dollars.
Johnson also had $7,000 cash.
Tonight he's facing felony charges of possession with intent to deliver heroin. He's in the Erie County Prison, with cash bond set at a quarter of a million dollars.
