Playground Dedicated for Harborcreek Soldier

A community remembered a fallen soldier today, by dedicating a new playground in his name.

U.S. Air force 1st Class Bryan R. Bell of Harborcreek lost his life in Afghanistan this past January, and on Friday his family joined with the community to honor his memory with a park.

The Patriot Guard Riders stood an honor flag line during the ceremony.

His family said it was a fitting way to honor the 23-year- old, because he loved children, but never got to have his own. It's a new playground to replace the one he used to play on growing up.

Bryan's father spoke at the dedication, sharing stories from his sons fellow soldiers.
