Following an undefeated season, the Erie Rugby Club hosted a playoff game against the Tri City Barbarians, from Saginaw, Michigan. Erie's club has been around since the 1970's, and this is only the second time in 15 years that they have hosted a playoff game. It's also one of the first times that the team went undefeated, with a record of 7-0. Members of the team say despite the rough and physical nature of the sport, it's relatively safe.
