A family moved in to their newly finished Habitat for Humanity home, thanks to Mercyhurst University students.
"The House that 'Hurst Built", on Woodlawn Ave., was seen for the first time by the Anderson family, who came to Erie from a refugee camp in Ghana.
Volunteers filled the house on Saturday to welcome the family to their new home.
Some of the students who worked on the house were at the dedication ceremony, and they said it was a school-wide effort.
The house was the combined talents of nearly 600 Mercyhurst University students, and other Habitat volunteers.
