We've received reports from around the county today saying there has been big turnout every where. I talked to those working at the polls here, and they've already seen voters. We made some calls to see how things were going this morning, for the most part, voting has been going well, not many issues to report at this time.
We do want to remind voters about is that you will be asked to show an form of id -- such as a drivers license, a passport, a utility bill --- but that is not required for today's election.
Also, we want to let you know some questions we've been getting into the newsroom. We received calls about the wrong races being on the ballot in Millcreek. These questions concerned the congressional race. When we looked into it, we found some voters in Millcreek Township will see Glenn Thompson and Charles Dumas on their ballot due to redistricting -- and not Mike Kelly and Missa Eaton.
We've also received reports in from Mayville in Chautauqua county that all polling sites opened with no problems and are running smoothly.
Polls here in Pennsylvania will be closing at eight o'clock tonight. We will of course have complete coverage of all the races, and will be updating you with the latest results as they come in after the polls close.
We'll have more coming tonight on 12news at five. But for now, reporting live at the polls Ashley Doerzbacher WICU 12news
