Rockets Lose to Ball State

It took three months for the Rockets to gain a national ranking. It took three hours to lose it.

Toledo lost 34-27 to Ball State in front of a stunned crowd at the Glass Bowl.

The loss snaps an 8-game winning streak, but does not eliminate Toledo's chance for a MAC championship. If the Rockets win their last two games, they will play for a conference title at Ford Field.

Once again, UT got off to a shaky start, spotting the Cardinals a 14-0 lead in the first quarter. But the Rockets rebounded to tie the game at halftime.

It remained close throughout the second half, but with 1:43 left in the game, Jahwan Edwards scored a 15-yard touchdown to put Ball State up for good. UT's last drive ended with the Rockets turning the ball over on downs.
