An old favorite is back on the Big Green Screen at the Tom Ridge Environmental Center at Presque Isle. But this time, the images are even more dramatic.
The film, "Lewis and Clark-Great Journey West" opened today. It drew big crowds when it was shown a few years ago. And the park used the theme of exploration to boost it's environmental education program for children.
Managers say the digital technology not only enhances the large format films, it will also allow them to bring in many more movies.
Mike Gildea, Executive Director of the Friends of the Tom Ridge Center said, "The digital technology will give us the ability to bring in a variety of movie titles and environmental films but also part of the holiday TREC series as well."
The holiday series includes shows of many favorites such as "Elf", "Polar Express", and "It's a Wonderful Life."
