TOLEDO, Ohio -
A warm front sparked off a few showers and storms across the area Friday night. The last time northwest Ohio had and thunderstorms was back on October 23, 2012. While November thunderstorms occur on occasion, they are still rare. In an average year, thunderstorms occur on 1 day during the month of November.
The same weather pattern that brought the storms will bring a beautiful weekend. Highs on Saturday are expected to come near record highs. The record high on November 10th is 68 degrees which happened in 1999. Temperatures are expected to jump up near 70 degrees for Sunday which is a few degrees below the record high of 73 degrees.
