1 cup pumpkin
1 cup sugar (brown or white)
1 cup butter
1 egg beaten
3 cup flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
½ tp. Salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
Bake at 375 for 15 minutes. Also good to freeze dough and bake later.
Icing
1 ½ cup powdered sugar
1 tablespoon butter
½ cup milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Orange coloring
Add more sugar and milk until the icing is thin but stiff enough to coat cookies.
