Spaghetti Dinner Supports Students, Refugees

Enjoying a hearty Italian meal also meant helping some good causes on Sunday.

The OLP youth group had their annual spaghetti dinner, but this year it helped more than just the students.

Volunteers worked all weekend preparing plenty of pasta, meatballs, and a special sauce, and the youth group also collected clothes for refugees in conjunction with the event.

Deacon Tony Alleruzzo said that as the holidays draw near, it's a good time to give back.

Since Sunday was Veteran's Day, all veterans ate for free.
