It was a big day for a lot of local non-profit agencies.
The Erie Community Foundation today awarded $800,000 in grants to agencies to address immediate and long term needs. The Erie County Gaming Revenue Authority funded two of the grants.
One of the largest awards, a grant of $100,000 was given to the Union City Family Support Center. Another large grant, $61,5000, was given to Stairways Behavioral Health Center for it's new art studio.
The grants are announced four times a year.
