No tax increase.
That's the word out of Erie city hall, in the mayor's proposed budget.
Mayor Joe Sinnott presented it Wednesday night, at the city council meeting.
It's a $63.3 Million dollar general fund budget.
Unlike last year, there's no property tax increase.
As part of the budget, Sinnott also proposed additional money for police overtime, to deal with the increasing violence on the streets.
It doesn't include any additional money for jobs or programs.
Bottom line Sinnot says the proposal "simply supports current services."
