Thursday was the big reveal of details for the next Women in Leadership Development, or W.I.L.D. Conference.
Any time you combine accomplished women, education, and philanthropy, the outcome is going to be pretty wild, and the conference this year promises not to disappoint.
"Knowledge, Energy and Passion", that's the slogan of the conference, and the speakers on board will certainly deliver.
Barbara Van Dahlen, one of time magazine's Top 100 Most Influential People in the World, will speak to the Erie audience, and she'll be joined by Martha Mayhood Mertz, the founder of ATHENA international.
An added reason to go this year, is that panel discussions will give a new type of educational aspect to the day.
Organizers chose Junior Achievement of Western Pennsylvania as the philanthropy for 2013.
The conference is geared toward uplifting women leaders at all stages of their careers.
"we're dealing with... juniors that are still in school or still in college, all the way up to a president or CEO," said 2013 W.I.L.D. Chairwoman Crystal Arlington, "so I want to try to deliver a message that touches everybody. I want people to be educated, inspired, fired up."
