16-Year-Old Boy Killed in Overnight Fire

A 16-year-old boy died and 6 others were injured during an early morning house fire in Linesville.

According to the Linesville Fire Chief Bill Mickle, the fire broke out around 1 o'clock Friday morning at 14948 Airport Road.

The fire chief says the boy, identified as Zachary Baker, was trapped inside of a bedroom that was fully engulfed in flames.

Six other people inside the home were taken to Meadville Medical Center and are being treated for a range of injuries.

State police are now investigating the cause of the fire.
